How to use

How do I add an instrument?

Tap the plus button on the list, give it a name, pick an icon and fill the X and Y axis names. Then pick a price on the detail screen, or enter original and current price on the percentage screen.

How do I change the three reference lines?

Open the detail screen and tap Edit in the top right. Set your own max, normal and min levels and the chart redraws them in their colours.

How do I get the latest rate?

Tap the circular arrow on the conversion screen: check both currencies (domestic defaults to USD to offshore CNY, abroad defaults to USD to your region currency), then tap the default entry or pick a currency. The app asks before applying anything.

Why did the quote button do nothing?

When a price arrives the app asks first — tap Update to apply it. If it reports a failure, the server could not reach the source that time; try again later. Your typed values are never changed.

Why does the layout differ on a foldable or iPad?

Unfolding the Duo switches to a landscape layout and iPad uses a top tab bar. It adapts to the window size automatically.

FAQ

Why is there no sign-up?
Because it is not needed. There is no account system: prices, rates and groups are stored on your device. Moving to a new device means entering them again.
Does it go online automatically?
No. It only requests public market data when you tap the get-price or get-rate button, and it asks before changing anything you entered.
Are the prices real-time?
They are reference data, not exchange-licensed real-time quotes. The server caches results for five minutes — fine for conversions, not for trading decisions.
Which instruments are included?
Sample data for Shanghai silver, gold, copper and crude, plus London gold, silver, copper and Brent. You can add any instrument yourself and enter prices manually.
Is this the same app as the timetable or T_Alarm?
No. The timetable apps organise classes, T_Alarm counts down dates, and Futures Helper does price conversion. They are independent and can be installed together.
